Payments into your account can be made:

• By cash or cheque at the office, or at any of our collection points (ask at the office for more details).
• By Standing Order - direct from your bank account
• By Payroll Deduction - direct from your salary with your employer's consent - this facility is currently available with Bedford Borough Council,  Bedford Hospital and  BTB Mailflight. (We are happy to consider talking with your employer if you would like to consider this type of arrangement)
• Benefit Payments - you could have your benefits paid directly into BCU. All we ask is you agree to a saving of £2 per benefit payment to support the Credit Union ethos of saving.
• By the Internet 

Savings are available with instant access and with no tie-in penalties.

If we have a surplus at the end of the year we will pay a dividend to all our savers - the amount you receive will be based on your savings over the year.

Are your savings safe?

Yes, whatever happens - we are covered by insurances against theft and are members of the National Compensation Scheme, which covers up to £50,000 of each member's savings.
